Position: Permanent faculty. Responsible for the Service of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery of the Discipline of Plastic Surgery of FMUSP. Associate Professor of Department of Surgery, Discipline of Plastic Surgery of FMUSP. He was president of the Brazilian Society of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery for two biennium (2000/2002 and 2006/2008). He was medical director of the non-governmental organization Operation Smile (2004/2011), of which he is currently a member. Member of the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery (since 2013). Coordinator of the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery team of the Hospital of Rehabilitation of Craniofacial Anomalies of Bauru-USP (since 2008).
